The University Administration System
Technology Infrastructure
The technology infrastructure of the administration system at Saint Dominic University consists of three main areas:
1. The Student Management System:
The student management system houses all the data that allows the university administration to enroll students and follow their progress. It also provides mechanisms whereby the university administration can observe, evaluate, and support the instructional staff and teachers to monitor and track students who are proceeding at a different pace through the courses and take appropriate action.
2. Faculty Support:
Faculty support enables the faculty to plan the student courses, set assignments, tests and exams, receive correct and mark student work, communicate with the students, hold online lectures and tutorials and carry out other related activities
3. Technical Support:
The university technical support: provides the students with extensive back up when needed. Technical support will also e-mail all newly registered students full comprehensive details on how to access the programs. The University provides students with continuous technical support for the educational technology hardware, software, and delivery system required in all programs.
The University, through quality teaching and advanced course delivery systems, assists students in the timely achievement of their professional and career goals.

Saint Dominic (1170-1221)
St. Dominic was a man of remarkable character and broadness of vision; he had the deepest compassion for every sort of human suffering; he saw the need to use all the resources of human learning in the service of God. He was devoted to the active work of preaching and teaching anywhere and everywhere. He founded the Friars Preachers Order which was a formative factor in the religious and intellectual life of later medieval Europe; its diffusion is still evident worldwide.
