Saint Dominic University Placement Test
Placement tests in English, computer competency and mathematics are required for all new undergraduate students who do not meet their English, mathematics, or computer competency degree program admission requirements.
These tests are taken online and follow the online exams procedure .
You will be notified by the Admissions office if you are required to take any of these tests.
UNIVERSITY COMPUTER BASICS TEST
The university may require a student to take the UNIVERSITY COMPUTER BASICS TEST at any time during the first term or prior to starting the course or may ask the student to take certain computer courses.
UNIVERSITY ENGLISH PROFICIENCY TEST
International applicants, who have not met the English requirements, may be required to take the university English Proficiency Test. The test includes Grammar, Reading comprehension, writing and listening sections.
Students may alternatively take English Language courses at the University .
Student who have not met the English proficiency test requirements and who have enrolled in English Language courses at the university may be allowed at the discretion of the Admissions officer and Registrar to enroll at the same time in one or more academic courses depending on the score in their English Proficiency test, but will be restricted in the number of degree courses they are allowed to take in concurrence with the English courses.
PREPARATORY COURSES
Students who have not yet fulfilled all requirements for admission into a degree program, may enroll to the preparatory courses prior to starting the degree program.
